Creation of a bridge to the world of tomorrow
In an exceptional setting, THE BRIDGE creates a unique experience in entrepreneurial thinking, to mark the centennial of the 1917 American landing. 100 companies from Saint-Nazaire to New York, will be engaged in a private session on board the most prestigious of cruise liners in the world, the Queen Mary 2, and at the heart of an unprecedented ocean challenge between the fastest multihulls on the planet and the steel giant.
THE BRIDGE experience is a unique catalyst for moving towards the world of tomorrow, punctuated by events based on the values of change: creativity (artistic events), agility and speed (3X3 Basketball World Cup), anchorage (commemorations 14-18), tenacity and surpassing your limits (challenge between the Queen Mary 2 and multihulls), solidarity and fraternity (centennial armada, 50 years of the SNSM (Société nationale de sauvetage en mer [National Lifeboat Society])), projection and pragmatism (seminar).
In the wake of these values, 100 companies from Saint-Nazaire to New York will be engaged in an unprecedented private session, to combine reflection, creation and experimentation, and to define action plans for building the company of tomorrow.
The world is changing under the influence of several factors: climate, technologies, globalization, and relationship to oneself and each other. This leads to major disruptions within the company: “creative destruction” of jobs and stakeholders, crisis of legitimacy and trust of the traditional stakeholders in society, transformation of economic models and marketing, the need to be done together... To prepare for this, several highlights will be organized before, during and after the crossing: cross-examinations of multidisciplinary experts (philosophers, sociologists, scientists, economists...), entrepreneurs and start-ups for daring to predict the enterprise of tomorrow; the performances of artists to prepare themselves for ever more competitiveness and unexpected changes, and accept them as factors of competitiveness; co-construction to set up projects for the world of tomorrow, whether they be personal, intra-company or open (NGOs, local authorities, elected officials, artists, sportsmen, etc.).

June 23: boarding in Cherbourg
Join the challenge skippers, philosophers, sociologists, economists, artists, entrepreneurs, NGOs, politicians, and start-ups on board, exchange your vision of tomorrow’s world with them under escort of an armada of naval vessels from countries engaged in the Great War.
June 24: stopover in Saint-Nazaire
Enjoy the return of the Queen Mary 2 to Saint-Nazaire from the inside, the harbor where it was constructed, in a stopover featuring centennial events, with a sound and light show and animations about the heroes of the seas.
June 25: the grand departure
Feel the emotion of the start of a great sailing adventure, aboard the Queen Mary 2, side-by-side with the fastest multihulls on the planet, under the gaze of several hundred thousand spectators.
June 25 - July first: The Cruise - seminar
Participate in six days of exchanges and discussions on the company of tomorrow, with the Atlantic Ocean as your work suit. Make eye-contact with the world of the arts and share your vision with multidisciplinary, world-renowned experts.
July first: arrival in New York
Enjoy the many festivities organized in the city of superlatives.
